What Is Included in Each Session at Ketamine Wellness NY
The price you see on each card is the total price for that session type. Nothing on top of it. Here is what your payment covers.
Every session includes
Physician oversight
Direct supervision by Dr. Pervaiz Qureshi, MD. Board-certified in internal medicine with over 30 years of clinical practice. Every session is administered under his direct supervision.
Continuous RN monitoring
Blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygenation tracked throughout the infusion. Our RN, Brent Boen, BSN-RN, CEN, brings emergency medicine and critical care experience to the treatment room.
A private treatment room
Not a shared bay or curtained partition. Every patient gets a private room with soft lighting, an eye mask, and curated acoustic therapy.
The infusion itself
IV placement, the calibrated ketamine dose based on your body weight and medical history, and continuous monitoring during the 40 to 90 minute infusion depending on your protocol.
A private recovery period
Approximately 30 to 60 minutes after the infusion in the same private room until you are cleared to leave.
Introductory Session Bonus
$450 includes- Full clinical intake with our medical team, including review of your mental health history, current medications, and treatment goals.
- Written treatment plan outlining recommended session count, dosing approach, and any coordination with existing psychiatrists or therapists.
6-Session Package Bonus
$3,000 includes- All six infusions scheduled together at your convenience across 2 to 3 weeks.
- Locked package rate so per-session pricing does not change during your treatment course.
- Mid-protocol check-in with our clinical team to assess response and adjust dosing if needed.
No separate charge for intake, recovery, RN monitoring, or the private room. Everything is bundled into the flat price on each pricing card.
How to Pay for Your Ketamine Therapy at Ketamine Wellness NY
We accept all standard payment methods at both our Queens and Long Island clinics.
Credit cards, debit cards, and cash
All major credit cards accepted. Payment is due at the time of service.
HSA and FSA cards
Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account cards are accepted at both clinics. Ketamine therapy for a diagnosed medical condition typically qualifies as a covered medical expense under IRS rules. Confirm with your HSA or FSA administrator before your first session.
Package payment
The 6-session package ($3,000) is paid in full at the start of your treatment course. This locks in the package rate and reserves your session times.
CareCredit financing
Not currently offered on-site. If you need to finance treatment over 6 or 12 months, we recommend applying for a CareCredit health card at carecredit.com before your consultation. CareCredit can be used at any medical provider that accepts it as a form of payment.
Our published prices are the same for every patient. We do not offer sliding-scale pricing, first-responder discounts, or promotional pricing.
Why Ketamine Wellness NY Is Cash-Pay Only
Standard commercial insurance in 2026 classifies IV ketamine for depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and chronic pain as an off-label indication. Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Empire BlueCross BlueShield, Medicare, and New York Medicaid all decline standard coverage.
Instead of running an insurance-billing operation, we set our prices low, publish them openly, and put every dollar into clinical quality. That means:
What we do not do
- We do not accept insurance.
- We do not handle prior authorizations or insurance appeals.
- We do not administer Spravato (esketamine nasal spray), which is separately FDA-approved and covered by most insurers through REMS-certified clinics.
If insurance-covered treatment is essential to your budget, Spravato at a REMS-certified clinic is your best path. For a full walkthrough of coverage rules by carrier, HSA and FSA guidance, out-of-network reimbursement scenarios, and what to ask your insurer, see our ketamine therapy insurance coverage guide.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you charge for the initial consultation?
No. Your introductory $450 session includes a full clinical intake with our medical team before the infusion begins. Review of your mental health history, current medications, and treatment goals, plus a written treatment plan, are all part of that $450. There is no separate consultation fee. If you decide during the intake that ketamine is not the right fit for you, you can decline the infusion and pay only for the intake time at our standard evaluation rate.
Can I pay with my HSA or FSA card?
Yes. HSA and FSA cards are accepted at both our Queens (Jackson Heights) and Long Island (Great Neck) clinics. IV ketamine therapy for a diagnosed medical condition typically qualifies as an eligible medical expense under IRS rules. Because HSA and FSA administrators can differ on documentation requirements, we recommend confirming your specific plan’s rules before your first session. We provide a standard payment receipt at the end of each visit that shows the date, service, and amount paid.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
You may reschedule or cancel a scheduled session up to 24 hours before your appointment at no cost. Cancellations or reschedules within 24 hours of the scheduled session are billed at 50 percent of the session fee. No-shows are billed the full session fee. If you are running late, please call (516) 203-1041 so we can adjust. Patients arriving more than 20 minutes late may need to reschedule and are billed for the missed session as a no-show.
Is the 6-session package the best value?
Yes for most patients. The 6-session package is $3,000, which is $300 less than paying 550sixtimes(3,300). More importantly, the 6-session protocol matches the clinical research supporting IV ketamine for depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and chronic pain. If you are unsure whether to commit to the full package, we recommend starting with the $450 introductory session and then deciding after your first infusion. If you continue with the package after that, we apply the introductory rate toward the package total.
Do you offer any discounts for veterans, first responders, or teachers?
We do not currently offer sliding-scale pricing, veteran, first-responder, teacher, or other occupational discounts. Our published prices are the same for every patient. This is a deliberate choice: we keep our overall pricing at the lower end of the New York market ($550 per session versus a $500 to $1,000 typical range) so that transparent pricing benefits everyone equally.
Are there any additional or hidden fees I should expect?
No. The price on each card is the total price for that session type. No consultation fee (included in the introductory session), no monitoring fee, no room charge, no medication fee. If maintenance boosters are recommended after your initial protocol, those are priced at the standard $550 per session. For pricing on longer treatment courses and maintenance planning, see our ongoing cost of ketamine therapy guide.
